Restore. Rebuild. Reignite.
Every marriage faces seasons. Some require strengthening. Others require healing.
If something has shifted between you the warmth has cooled, the arguments feel circular, or the distance has grown so gradually you can’t quite name when it started you’re not alone. And it’s not too late.
Lovewell provides a confidential, structured space for couples to do the honest work of rebuilding guided by a husband-and-wife counselling team who understand both sides of the room.
Confidential. Compassionate.
Who It’s For
This isn’t only for couples in crisis. It’s for any couple who knows something needs to change.
You might recognise one or more of these:
- Conversations that always end in conflict or silence
- Feeling more like housemates than husband and wife
- A breach of trust that left one or both of you unsure of the future
- The weight of parenting, finances, or life transitions pulling you apart
- An emotional disconnection you can’t seem to close on your own
- A desire for deeper intimacy — and not knowing how to get there
- Infidelity, and the painful, uncertain road of deciding what comes next
Whatever brought you here, the fact that you’re looking is already something.
What Marriage Counselling Includes
Sessions are 60 90 minutes and structured around what your marriage actually needs not a generic programme.
Each couple receives:
- Practical conflict-resolution strategies you can use immediately
- Communication frameworks that replace old patterns with new ones
- Tools for emotional reconnection — even when it feels impossible
- Guided accountability exercises to build on between sessions
- Honest, balanced counsel that honours both perspectives
- Faith-based guidance *(available for couples who want this)*
- Personalised action steps after every session
Mr Oswald Opara and Dr Glory Opara work together in every session. Oswald ensures husbands feel respected and genuinely understood. Glory ensures wives feel heard and fully supported. Together, they create a space where both of you can be honest — and both of you can move forward.
Why We Do This
Marriage is one of the most important relationships a person will ever have and one of the most neglected.
We started Lovewell because we believe that most struggling marriages aren’t broken they’re stuck. Stuck in patterns neither partner chose, without the tools to find a way through.
As a husband-and-wife team, we bring both perspectives into the room. Oswald understands what it feels like to be a man who wants to lead his marriage well but doesn’t always know how. Glory understands what it means to be a woman who needs to feel truly heard before she can fully open up. Together, we create a space where both of you can breathe, be honest, and begin to move forward.
This is more than a service. It is a calling.
What Couples Say About Working With Us
What Couples Say
Stories from real marriages
We thought our marriage was fine — but we didn’t realise how much better it could be. The course gave us insights and practical steps that improved our communication and helped us prioritise each other again. It was eye-opening and life-giving.
Michael & Ronke
We came in with walls between us. Each session helped chip away at those walls until we began to truly see and hear each other again. It didn’t just help us fix problems — it gave us tools to build something stronger than before.
Ade & Temi
It felt like we were roommates, not partners. Lovewell created a safe and intentional space where we could reconnect, have honest conversations, and rekindle the intimacy that had faded over time. We’re more united now than ever.
James & Sarah
Your marriage is worth fighting for.
Most couples who struggle don’t lack love they lack the tools to express it in a way the other person can receive. That’s something that can be learned.
Take the first step. The rest gets easier from there.
Confidential. Compassionate. No pressure.
